Don’t brush them off so easy. They got a point against PSG, and just beat Leipzig. They are a decent challenging team. It’s not going to be easy. A lot of good youngsters.

I’m not writing them off.. but Pep is good at beating those types of teams in the group. Which is exactly why I think we will top the group.. PSG are more likely to drop points against these sides due to being casual. I also think we will beat PSG at home.

Paris didn’t look anywhere near average at anything they did tonight. Their whole game plan was to sit back and counter attack us, and they were excellent at it.

People saying things like “the better team lost” and your wildly wrong take on it, aren’t taking on board the other team’s tactics and gameplan and just think that possession and territory mean you’re the better side.

their plan wasnt to sit and counter us from the start, they kiterally couldnt get the ball. Youre telling me that all thoes passes they missed were part of the big plan ?

Sterling twice, Bernardo from one yard hits the bar, Ruben free header from 5 yards out should score, Mahrez had a few chances and forced a good save. We created plenty and should of taken at least one of them before they scored their second.

Kev got in behind and didn't pull it across the goal as much as he should. We made plenty of chances, chances weren't the problem tonight. I've not seen xg but sure we'll have beaten them on it.

That was a bit like the Chumps League Final. Didn't play our best XI, the other team were just wanting to sit back, and we didn't look like scoring.
As long as no injuries move on to Sunday.

Tonight was way better than the farce in Porto. We never turned up against Chelsea. Tonight, we more than held our own. We just need to be clinical with the opportunities that come our way.

Don’t think either of their goals were lucky.
They were very well taken by good players, when some of our players didn’t do their jobs too well.

They had moments when some of their players could have done better but we didn’t take those chances.

Well how the ball fell to Gaye from a scuffed Neymar shot was lucky IMO, Walker probably cuts that out otherwise. He nearly got to it but since it was unintentional, he was wrong footed. I never said the second goal was lucky.

Has anyone got a replay of their first? I'm pretty sure that's what happened anyway.
