Anybody thinking we were 'very lucky' to come away with a win against PSG wasn't paying enough attention to the game.
Even when they were looking good in the first half they hardly tested Ederson and the back four made sure that any chances they created were half ones at best.
Second half was total domination and that was before the sending off.
They were restricted to one shot in the second half whilst we could have scored 3/4.
So whilst you could argue our goals had an air of luck to them they were fully deserved.

If we are at our best in the next tie, we'll advance - barring misfortune.
My point though - is that we're very lucky indeed to come home with a 2-1 advantage.
PSG were lucky it was only 1-2.

If we play our best at home - we'll likely advance - but PSG are extremely talented - so it's likely going to be close.

We all know to win this cup you usually need a little bit of luck. In the past we have had absolutely bollocks all go our way in this tournament. This year has been a little kinder to us; that goal by Bellingham which was chalked off, the fact we could have got Bayern but somehow PSG contrived to win that tie, the two goals we scored v PSG wouldn’t have gone in in previous seasons etc. It’s all stacking up for the best team in the land and all the world to finally lift Big Ears aloft into the Istanbul sky. COME ON CITY!!!
