Agreed about the offsides. I think the worst decision was the failure to award a penalty. I can't think of another not given penalty that was more stonewall?

Without doubt our biggest issue,our play is mouthwatering until it comes to the final ball/decision making....then we morph from Barca into Brighton.

Although our conversion rate was low, I feel much more upbeat about our CL chances after such a dominant display. Some excellent build up play. Winning breeds belief and confidence. We are rated much higher in the club rankings than PSG.

As long as we have more of a go as we did vs Real Madrid. Was the time I really fell out with Pellegrini. We were awful in the away leg and defended a 0-1 defeat. I thought he was keeping it tight to have a go in the last 15 minutes. But there was nothing. Shades of Jamie Pollock keep ball vs Liverpool all those moons ago without the excuse of confusion.

What a missed opportunity that was.

Scoring 2+ goals is more important. The clean sheet is significant in the home leg, to stop them getting away goals, but this week we need goals. 2-2 is miles better than 0-0. As it gives us the option of drawing 0-0 or 1-1 at home and going through. Whereas 0-0 this week would mean we can’t win with any draw without going to pens if it’s 0-0 again. Go for goals City.

Keeping a clean sheet in the home leg is vital. Scoring away goals is more important in the first leg (though a clean sheet as well would be nice).
