Here’s the thing with PSG: there isn’t much of a difference in standard between them and Dortmund....cries of “rubbish, how can that be? They beat some great teams etc”

Yes they have 3 or 4 great players but they don’t play as a team and rely heavily on those stars.

“How did they knockout both Bayern and Barca over two legs then you idiot”

How very dare you! You might not like the answer but PSG got very lucky on both occasions. You can’t judge a team on 4 games. Factor in their domestic performances and there is a big drop.

My point is that there is nothing to be scared of here...nothing special. If we can contain Mbappe like we contained Haaland then we have much the better team.

If PSG’s luck carries on or they play brilliantly while we fall apart, then there is not a lot we can do but in terms of how good the teams are on average we should go through. In fact we have a better chance against them than either team in the other Semi.

Lets just hope the officials are fair after we initially left and they didn’t.

One thing is People are scared of Mbappe's pace (rightfully so)..but we contained Haaland very well in both legs, and Haaland was clocked as the fastest player in Bundesliga recently in a match. PSG are all about counters and if we get the first goal and draw them out we will be fine imo..

Also hopefully the boys start spending time on the penalties for the shootouts.

Agreed about the offsides. I think the worst decision was the failure to award a penalty. I can't think of another not given penalty that was more stonewall?

Press report:
"It's understandable that the Man City boss was incensed Raheem Sterling wasn't awarded a penalty during the 3-0 loss in the first leg.

The England international turned in the box before being caught by Andy Robertson, who missed the ball, took the man and even appeared to handle in the area.

"It is a penalty on [Raheem] Sterling from [Andy] Robertson in front of the fourth official," Guardiola said of the incident"
Again, hopefully something VAR would have sorted.

Although our conversion rate was low, I feel much more upbeat about our CL chances after such a dominant display. Some excellent build up play. Winning breeds belief and confidence. We are rated much higher in the club rankings than PSG.
God I remember when we all got giddy at making the top 20 in those index’s.

They are still in a fight for their league title so they have more to think about than us. They have a game with Lens I think who are in European places so not an easy match on Saturday evening. Come on City get it done in the away leg please. Take those chances

mmmm. Maybe they want the CL more?

Take our chances & don’t allow their strikers too much space & we win this.

the cup win yesterday was huge for the players. Confidence will be sky high
