I know it’s impossible to judge a player when he plays in a different team, but on the two showings against us…thank fuck we didn’t sign Messi. He is the best player I have ever seen, but away from Barca, his heart doesn’t look remotely in it. He wouldn’t get in this City side with performances like he has put in against us.

Bernardo outstanding and Rodri keeps getting better and better.

2 observations though from the difference between Europe and Premier League.

1. No time wasting by their keeper.

2. Balls ready to go when it goes for a throw in.

Why can the PL not adopt the same, particularly point 2. It helps flow the game ffs.
