Sorry, mate. I'm a little thick. :) BTW I wasn't trying to be a dick or anything like that. Just hoping to be helpful. You'd be surprised that people are seriously afraid of drinking the water there

I guessed that (not that you're thick, I hasten to add!). I've been to France many times, and use the tap water for drinks myself.
To be honest, I'd sooner have a crepe with a glass of cider, but that's just personal preference.
