Not a signing to set the pulses racing for sure but he could do a very effective job for the team, helping to provide better protection for the back four and providing the platform to allow Robbo and ?? to do their stuff in attack.

not the player i would have picked but he will do a decent job in midfield with kompany and he is better than we have got.

also he is box to box and will give the flair players chance to get forward

If he can get over living outside london he will be fine. That was his big problem at newcastle.

i think him playing around quality players like kompany, ireland and swp it should help him quite alot imo
