I was only responding to your post, all I know is City (pre Pep) made promises to the lad & went back on them!
What were these promises? And how do you know?

This was a rumour going around last season, that when city signed him he wanted into the first team and that we supposedly gave him assurances over it but never played him. But, nobody has really given it enough credibility so ppl are claiming it as fact, kind of dumb for an 18 year old to think he would start in a top 10 team anyways, he clearly wasn't going to play much and needed the loan. What were these promises? I think the poster Not My Fault is related to Patrick. If so I think we can claim it as fact! This was a rumour going around last season, that when city signed him he wanted into the first team and that we supposedly gave him assurances over it but never played him. God knows my memory isn't as good as it once was but didn't he play a few games early in the season(against Spurs seems to ring a bell)only to get injured which saw him out until Christmas time right before he was loaned out to Celtic? This was a rumour going around last season, that when city signed him he wanted into the first team and that we supposedly gave him assurances over it but never played him. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Just saying, if it were me, I can see why he'd want to go back. Only time will tell if it is the right or wrong move for himBut he'll be playing against substandard opposition every single week. They could easily draw Real and PSG in the Champions League and suffer 4 hammerings - what's he going to gain from that?
Even so, if he and his agent actually believed that then it's ridiculous, City would never regularly play an unproven 18 year old, and he should have known better.I think the poster Not My Fault is related to Patrick. If so I think we can claim it as fact!
Too lazy to look that up, I don't quite remember that happening. I mostly remember him playing like half a season EDS (with maybe a professional game) then going to Celtic on loan.God knows my memory isn't as good as it once was but didn't he play a few games early in the season(against Spurs seems to ring a bell)only to get injured which saw him out until Christmas time right before he was loaned out to Celtic?

Honestly would you rather have seen navas start games last season or Roberts?Even so, if he and his agent actually believed that then it's ridiculous, City would never regularly play an unproven 18 year old, and he should have known better.
