Im a very long way from home these days. Hope your new show will be available as a podcast, or just wont be blocked on the net. I will very much enjoy listening to you in Aus if I can that is for sure.

That away trip up to smoggy old Boro that night was totally heartbreaking. We got back to the Ritz just in time for last orders... A horrible night.

I would like to thank you for the great memories, you are a true blue legend....
 
Speaking of blue legends and all...

I had the pleasure of a pint with Mick McCarthy last weekend in Perth WA. They (Wolves) have been in WA on a pre-season tour. Had a good old chat, I enjoyed reminding him of his f*ckin superb headed equaliser in the 1986 (?) Maine Road derby, and he only had good things to say about us. Sadly he didn't want to be drawn into a conversation about Roy (Pikey shithouse) Keane but hey never mind. Apparently there is a good chance of Robbie Fowler being in the same place on Saturday night, will have to ask him about 'that' penalty..

Lakey if you are reading Im sure I speak for many if you could give us some memories especially of September 23rd, your debut, and maybe the Youth Cup Final. Great days im sure you would agree....
 
Paul, remember meeting you in the Riverside/Galleon in Didsbury on New Year's Eve in the mid
90s. You tight git, all that money and you let my mate buy you half a pint!

Favourite Lakey moments :

1) 5-1.
2) Beating Spurs at home in the early 90's when he had Gascoigne in his pocket all game.
3) Burnley away 6-0 when Lakey was the physio up there. "Your only decent player is the physio" booming from the away end and Lakey trying desperately not to acknowedge it.

My favourite player ever. Read the article in the city mag about him recently, got a bit upset reading it. He was my Grandads favourite too. Lakey you're a legend!
