That is a bit OTT (and I think we will win by 2 goals), but he's not wrong about our central midfield is he?

pretty sure Chelsea have one of the best mid-fields in Europe, we dominated them twice (only when we play 3 defensive mid-fielders mind)

So everything Paul Merson say's is right? Bollocks! I've never heard so much shit in my life, I believe everyone is entitled an opinion but when it comes to a professional pundit everything we do is lucky or just that the opposition played poor but when Arsenal loose they were unlucky and when they win he fuckin wanks himself off under the skysports desk he's biast and a c**t and has nothing good to say about our club for this I think I'm in the right to slag him off.

Merson is a dick.

I certainly wouldn't swap our midfield for Birmingham's.
None of them would get in our team.
And with that "shit midfield" we've managed to beat the Sky darlings rags,Chelsea and Arsenal.

Merson's just doing what typical rag nobheads in the pub do when they tell you "City are shit" and then can't actually justify why they've said it.
It's lazy.It's easy.It ignores the painful truth.

Times have changed,but the fact is pricks like Merson will never say anything decent about us or give us recognition until we've won something.
Take Burnley's biggest defeat of the season last Saturday.
Apparently,It was all down to them we scored six goals.
That's all I've heard all week.
We all know had that been rags,Chelsea etc the media would've drooled over it like a rabid dog.

We're an easy target-if we win,then we should've done anyway.
If we don't-it'll be because we're "ickle ciddy and no top players will play for them cos they've got no history."

So far as Merson's concerned-the guy's a fuckwit-a shambling embarrassment to football punditry.

He's effectively Sky's "football gimp."
