There's no need to be bitter by calling him shit, or deluded by saying he won't improve their team. Pogba is, deservedly, widely-acknowledged to be one of the very best young players in Europe and many here would've been over the moon to see him join our ranks. That said, we'll have to live with the fact that he's chosen to go to the rags and honestly, I think it says a huge amount about him. He talks about being a legend, being remembered, winning as many titles as possible. Even after a relatively crappy Euros, he has the power and influence to basically pick his club... and he goes to a team that aren't even in the CL, are famously on a downward spiral and could easily be battling it out for mid-table next season. Honestly, it's f***ing mental. Nothing about this deal shows off his alleged "winning mentality" or desire to go down in history as the greatest midfielder the game has seen. No... instead it reeks of a power-hungry young man blinded by inordinate sums of cash.

At least we can take solace in the fact that this might genuinely be the funniest story in the rags' recent history. Let a lad go and then break the world transfer record for him again a few years later. How embarrassing. Of course the media will do their best to paper over those humiliating cracks, but no City fans will be fooled. Just hope we can get a few big names through the door now and focus on ourselves.

i completely agree with you, we get branded as a club with no history and players only want to play for us for the money....then pogba goes and picks a team not in the champions league and a team that truly might struggle to break the top 4 next year
 
Wonder if there will be friction between him and zlatan who's the swamp superstar ,both seem to have big opinion s of themselves
 
With Pogba and Ibrahimovic, Rooney will be licking his lips at his bumper new wage.
