This argument that Pogba shouldn't be measured by his Euro performance as a DM is tiring. Just look at his Juve form for the past 4 years. 8 goals for each of the last two seasons, 7 in 2014 and 5 in 2013. His assists are on average per those 4 seasons at 5.25. In 2015 he had 3 assists! Even di Maria when he was at the swamp had 19 assists. And he is an attacking threat at £100m? That's laughable. Suarez at 30+ goals is an attacking threat.

A midfielder who has averaged 7 goals per season with an assist stat when comparing with other AMs are actually below average, is £50m at most.

Seria A standard is terrible though.
Juve are the only good side and have a free run at the league.
Both Milan teams have turned into a joke
Roma have gervinho dzeko and Napoli ain't world beaters.
Fernandinho or nasri could have better stats then pogba in that juve team in seria A in its current state

Better we leave Bonnuci then

Bonnuci is a very very good defender much better then we have.
He's reading of the game and passing ability is first class

My opinion on Pogba hasn't altered one bit from this time last year, when we were supposedly in for him. I think the guy is class and unfortunately he'll improve them hugely, if he does go there.

Where I do have slightly "blue tinted specs" is I believe if he goes there, it'll only be for 3 years and I think he knows this as does his agent.
If we were in for him, I believe it would be for the long term and again I think his agent would have known that also!

Where both clubs differ and the proof is in the pudding with Aguero, Silva, Toure and a lesser extent Tevez, is we have every intention of keeping our true world class players for as long as possible. Not just getting them on a 3 year stop off. United for want of a better phrase are a selling club, they know it and more importantly so do players and the likes of Madrid!

I even think Madrid could be sat back now hoping the kid ends up at United, safe in the knowledge that they've got an excellent opportunity of bagging him in a few years time, when he's proven himself even more. If he were coming to us, they along with Barca wouldn't be sitting so comfortably.

Very much doubt that. This is a career move. If he does well at the rags they will value him higher than what they paid for him. So unless we start seeing £150m+ fees then I can see him moving in 3 years unless he runs his contract down.

But Pogba is no better what we have then?

I watch a lot of seria A for my work and I must say my opinion is the same last year when we were in for him.
He will not guarantee you titles or push into the world class bracket or make us challenge barca Bayern and real.

I'd rather have a prime yaya or Fernandinho in the our midfield then him at them moment.
Not saying he won't became world class as can't predict the future but me personally would rather have thaigo or Kroos in lite midfield

Pogba will sit down with his agent after Euro 2016 to review his many options only to find no Champions League clubs are actually interested. So its stay where you are and be grateful or head off to the Europa League with the scum. Just maybe his agent has over played his hand here - will still make a fortune but his client isn't being best served. Going to the scum will be lucrative but he won't develop into the same player he would at Barca, Madrid or here (under Pep).

Exactly. A point I made in my post before this. If a player is averaging 8 goals, 5.25 a season in a league where they always runaway with it what with Tevez and Pirlo a few years back and Vidal, etc, jury's still out on how he fares here in the more competitive PL. Pogba is a player who is brilliant in flashes like jay jay okocha but at the end of the season, AMs like Silva who scores more and assists more are what matters.

Compare him with Silva in a complete season:

Where do you get the idea that Utd are a selling club from? I don't see that at all.
