I'm sure it will they seem that desperateIt'll be a bit embarrassing if they fail to get this one over the finishing line. £100 million for a guy no one else will touch at the price, £55 million five year contract net of tax and £20 million 'fixers fee' to to his agent and it's still not signed.

That's not the right number, to be fair. To get his money (£11M after tax) his weekly wage will be £398,745.76. This is £20,734,779 a year or £103,673,897 over five years. His wages will cost MORE than his transfer fee!!!
