Real are in NYC atm, so too is Pogba...Madrid being linked with the garbage sissoko just seems like smoke and mirrors to me(like honestly i'll eat my own ass if they buy that clown)...that and the fact this transfer has dragged on, and on, and on.

In spite of the likes of dimarzio(who was wrong about aubameyang) saying it will be done in X days, ages ago now. etc etc etc. Also he seems to have had the longest holiday in the history of the summer breaks.

Real have been really quiet this transfer window. They got Marota back and that's it basically. They must be up to something. Zidane did say hes happy with the squad but I can't believe Real will go through this window without buying a galatico especially since they have a transfer ban coming their way.

Do you think the other ten players (assuming they sign Pogba) warrant them being contenders? As I said above, he could be the best thing since sliced bread but he will only be as effective as the rest of the team combined. For me, they are several other signings off being a contender
I completely agreed that it depends on the team and not the individual no matter how good he is (the only example I can remember of an exception is Madonna in '86 - and he cheated!) Do I think a Pogba-Man Utd are contenders? In one word - yes. Do I think they will actually win? no, I think we have/will have the better team. What I am I interested in is how close we are to each other, the end of the season point difference if you will. I am by no means cocksure we will win but Mourinho is a good manager (but a horrible person) and he will produce a strong title-contending first 11 that will play a lot of games together. I assume from the context of your post that you think we are clear favourites and admire your confidence if that is so, I guess I am more cautiously optimistic!

It'd be a cracking way for Real to get revenge for the De Gea farce last summer.

Even though I still think he's nailed on to go to the swamp it's been funny seeing the reaction of the average armchair rag since this news came out. They are insecure as fuck bless their cotton socks.

Good point, they deserve it!

Hopefully Real waits until deadline day to swoop in. Pogba is in every rag fan's expected line-up, it would be hilarious to see them left hanging and not have enough time to sign another midfielder.

Etihad airlines offered to pay transfer fee for RM as a 'gift for stadium sponsorship'

;)

Would be the advert of the millennium if Pogba shows up in a Real Madrid shirt in the blah blah commercial..

Suarez + Liverpool?

But the difference is that Suarez directly contributed to over 40 goals. Pogba hasn't yet shown he's capable of being anything like as effective as that. I've certainly never heard of a central midfielder dragging a team to the title. The closest I've seen is Yaya Toure's record breaking season, and even then Aguero still contributed 28 goals.
