Amazing how few people are pointing out the obvious parallels to when the last "greatest manager in the world" arrived and spunked a monumental amount of money on a "obvious world beater" in Angel Di Maria. Again the player arriving doesn't remotely suit the manager arriving, but it's a nice big name for them to jizz over for a while.
The 'jizz count' has rocketed in the last hour.

Probably not, but within a few years he could match toures contributions to city.

We will see about that in a few years time,

In a midfield two with either carrick or schneiderlin, probably.
If that's the case then he's not worth £30m never mind £120m as that's not his best position as we saw in the Euros.

It's not where Juve had him.

The fact that they could have better spent the 120M doesn't make the news that Pogba is joining them any better. He's a top player, one of the most sought after that puts them back on the map. They're signing someone who considerably improves their midfield and is a future Balon D'or winner - that ISN'T good news!

He'd be our best CM. Gundo is class as is 'Dinho but he's better than both. People forget how bad our CM's are right now; we literally only have 2 good options. You wouldn't dare pose that question if we were signing him.
When was the last time a central midfielder won the Ballon D'or?

No chance he'll win it. Especially not in a team that fails to win the league.

So you'd have him in CDM? And he'd win the ballon d'or? Excellent.

The games I've seen him for juve last season was either on the left side, just ahead of the midfielders or central midfield.

I don't even know why I'm arguing about this, at the end of the day, they've got a brilliant player who improves them instantly, you can't argue with that.

No this year no. But I think in 2/3 years he will naturally replace Aguero or hopefully maybe even next year as a wide left forward a la Neymar at Barca, with Aguero false 9 and Sane on the right.

No ones answered the question yet as to he would Pogba kick out of our strongest 11?

Edit. Got my left and right mixed up.
In 2/3 years could he not naturally replace Fernandinho?

Where does Sterling fit in to a Jesus, Aguero, Sane front three?

I can't see him improving them playing in a midfield two at all.

If he plays as a deeper 10 then I would. But I can't see Rooney being dropped for him.

true but the rags still need major surgery , 1 major signing is not going to win them the league
