Paul Pogba

I think he will improve United and any team in the Premier League including us. A very very good midfielder, defensively and attacking. Pace, power, heading, tackling, he's got it all. Still young and will get better which is the bad part because I'd rather he got better with us rather than someone else.

The money? It's a huge amount but if someone is willing to pay that kind of cash for him then fair play to them. I just wish it was us...

Pogba 'wants Real Madrid move'
Paul Pogba wants to move to Madrid, not Manchester, according to Guillem Ballague.

Speaking about the transfer saga, the Sky sports journalist said: “Pogba has made it very clear, to Real Madrid anyway, that he would like to be a Real Madrid player this summer.

“He has had conversations with Zinedine Zidane and he wants to play for Zidane. However, that doesn’t stop his agent, Mino Raiola, from getting other kinds of agreements.

I don't see him as anything like a £100m player, but the money in the PL means it's pretty hard to really question any price anymore. Not generally a fan of buying from Serie A, they rarely look anything like as good anywhere else, but Pogba isn't a usual Serie A player. He's a bit like old man Yaya, in the sense that he has good moments rather than good games, if he develops his game to be able to control a midfield like a younger Yaya then I could see him as being worth all the fuss, but it's a big gamble as I've not seen him do that. I'd be surprised if Real aren't all over him as he's very much a galactico type signing, more about his reputation than actual effectiveness at this point
I don't think it's RM getting a player with reputation above effectiveness. I think it's more that they can slot potentially great players in next to already great players and let them grow.

Bit of an outlay if he breaks his leg in the September derby. Great talent, but sickening money.

Well they need to make a statement. Let's face it, they've been in our shadows since Fergie left and it's been great to laugh at their demise but they're really coming back now which is so annoying. It's a smart move by them as it's killing 2 birds with 1 stone. They'll sign a player that's wanted by every top team and they'll stop us from signing Kroos.
