And would he be more marketable for Madrid or Stretford?

United's willingness to pay such a premium would suggest their need is desperate rather than more?

We were willing to pay £50m more than Madrid for Kaka, so let's see where this goes when the player and his mum also have their say.

Pogba has to decide if he can envisage spending the rest of his career at United?, because that is what this transfer would result in.

Such is the huge premium United are prepared to pay, in addition to wages, no other big club will come knocking in the future, barring being a future World Player of the Year, United suddenly turning into world beaters over the next five years or them selling him at a huge loss.

Pretty much Wayne Rooney's situation for the last four years in his gilded cage.

It's not just the transfer fee, it's the in excess of 300k per week wages too.

Just not worth the aggro as he isn't justifiable as being highest paid player at the club.
If you'd been on smack for 12 months and suddenly had a moment of clarity, then were asked to watch this game and guess which player was worth 100 mill, out of 22 on the pitch I'd bet my left bollock you'd have ten guesses and still not be close

Having a quick peek on ragcafe, seems like noone wants hin haha.

I can understand real madrid not wanting him, he is not a galactico. He is lacking that spark .
De Bruyne or Hazard are more galactico material than pogba.
Pogba would be a good buy around 65-70 million.

He's done nothing whatsoever. I don't give 2 fucks about him playing defensively, he should still be able to grab the game by the scruff and dictate play, he's done sod all.

Kroos
Verrati
Thiago
Vidal
Modric
Gungadon
Inesita
ratikic
Busquests
Are all miles ahead of pogba in the CM position for me

Exactly mate. On the figures involved though, presumably there are, for example 5 clubs involved, which gets the wages and agents fees to a certain level. And then you are left with 2' one of whom is willing to fill the agents pockets, in order to ge it over the line?

Why would pogba go for that, if he has the world at his feet?

I know some people on here, like yourself are very much in the know, but surely Stretford has to be a real possibility for pogba?

Going to the scum would be football suicide for Pogba, great money but will never win the big prizes.

Sorry but I feel there's a lot of sour grapes in here all of a sudden, stating he's not all that. We had a 2000 page + thread last summer creaming at the prospect of him coming here, slating him as '£100 holding midfielder' is bollocks, he's doing a disciplined role asked of him by his manager.

He's got every aspect to his game to go on and be a future Balon D'or winner for me, he's not enough on his own at the minute to turn the scum into automatic champions as some have said in here, but he'll make them a damn site better than they are at the minute.

It's a blow as its a major statement of intent from the bastards & I've resigned myself to him signing for them, so anything other than that will be a bonus. However, I have 100% faith in Pep to deliver a TEAM that will be the main players in this country over the next 3 years minimum.

I'll bet you £1000 pound he will never win the ballon d'or
