Paul Pogba

So according to his fratello, the fee for everyone would be 120 mill, but just because its United (who have a sell on clause) the fee would be 140 mill? Hope he does realize that if the clause exists the Rags are going to get 15% form wherever Pogba goes. Also his info on Darmian is probably bullshit considering they just signed Alves and have Lichsteiner in that position.

Most of this seems like rubbish. Firstly it doesn't seem plausible that there is a 15% sell on clause. Didn't Pogba leave the rags by running down his contract? How would the rags have managed to include a 15% sell on clause for a player who was running down their contract?

Secondly, if there was a 15% sell on clause, don't you think they'd find a way around it if they were themselves buying Pogba back? Why would they be constrained by the clause they themselves put in?! It doesn't make sense.

Thirdly, like the poster above says, isn't Depay is much lazier than Mata?

I don't buy any of it.
I agree. I think his fratello is talking shite!!

SkyBet still have Juve as his most likely club next season.

Frankly if I were him I'd have told his agent to fuck off trying to flog him to a team who aren't even in the Champions League

Unless he gets a move to Madrid he is better off staying where he is

It will all be smoke and mirrors boss, he will be in perfect sync with his agent and they will have had the plan to use utd as a bargaining chip if Real fell through ready as a "threat" to Juve for a fatter contract. If Real had shown real interest though he would have been of in a flash.

Sky are running a story atm about why he's worth £100m. The basis of their argument seems to be that he's better than the average Serie A midfielder in all areas.

Tbh, for £100m, I don't want someone who's better than the average, I want someone who's the best, and significantly better than a £50m midfielder.

Stats like that are nonsense, but anyone who watches Serie A regularly would tell you that Pogba is the best. I don't know who you would classify as a £50m midfielder, but I can almost guarantee that they would also tell you that Pogba is better than whoever that would be.

In playing terms but his bank balance will improve dramatically if he heads to the rags!!!

There might be a sell on clause as it was reported even last year when we wanted Pogba. But I found the value above high because I remembered we were supposedly in for £58m and £1.2m of it is the sell on clause. Hardly 15%. Not sure which of the two is the true clause but yes a form of sell on clause was mentioned last year.
