IF he joins them, will it mean they not only paid a world record transfer fee, but also paid his agent a similar figure to what we paid for gundogan, who come the end of the season could be argued is the better player

And a fair bit more than Real Madrid paid for Bale. If they were getting Bale, then I might actually be a bit concerned.
 
I still think he will end up going to the rags but they will get reamed on the price, the fact is if he goes there he will improve them but the figures being quoted are ridiculous.

To be fair to Pogba he appears to be quite happy to stay at Juve and the only reason for him to move is the money on offer to him and his agent, if i was a scummy red fucker i would be really concerned about his motives. It's one thing paying a world record fee for the worlds best player who shares your clubs vision and goals, it's something totally different to pay that fee to sign a player who is only joining because of the wages.

I still struggle to believe how little grief they are getting in the press considering they had him on the books and let him go for next to fuck all.

I'm sure you didn't mean to imply that he was the world's best player! If he was, then as a supporter I might be tempted to say "bugger his motives - we'll win everything with this guy." Fact is, he isn't, not by some distance.

Far from the worlds best player, i was implying that if you break a world record fee it should only be for best players and they should be on board with the clubs aims, this is a mile away from what is happening with this transfer.

Do you not think he hasn't looked the same player since Vidal and Pirlo left?
Top,top player,don't get me wrong,just don't think he's looked as good since they went.
He won't get no Pirlo or Vidal at the rags.
 
Is it too late to hope for Real to bail us out of this inevitable wankfest should it go through?

Can't believe it looks set to happen, seemed absurd to me a matter of weeks ago.
 
Sure I read somewhere that the White Heskey had to be on the same money or more than any new "superstar" brought into the Swamp?
