Paul Pogba

He's a quality player, with age on his side, and will improve the scum midfield 10 fold.

The only problem is at that cost he's a marked man, he'll be talked about from the start of the season none-stop, talked about how he cost more than an entire team who've just come up from the championship, and when he plays and the scum don't perform he'll be used a talking point, even more so when he doesn't perform.

Oh... shit... my bad. I forgot we're talking about the scum here. They'll mention the fee, but when he plays shit they'll say he's still young and learning, as that's what "the scum way is", to "bring is in the youngters"...

"Look... here's 23 year old Paul Pogba (Cost £100 Million) on the ball, formally of United's stellar youth set-up, passing to another Utd youngster, 20 year old Martial (cost £40+ Million).... amazing how Utd bring through this level of talent year on year and encourage them being in the first team".

£100 mil for a midfielder is an insane amount of money, he needs to be a game changer from the off and I just don't know if he will be that... but we shall see.

Hopefully we'll keep quietly and confidently adding to our team and do our talking on the pitch.

Surely they're going to be ridiculed for this. It's absolutely the most absurd thing that any club has ever done? God only knows how much they'll pay to get Cleverly back!

I wonder why they don't quote what he's costing them. Ie £100m plus £20m for agent

Imagine if it was City buying him!

Which would also be applicable to our fans mocking the numbers.
Of course, its a fickle industry,we obviously thought the numbers were absurd though.

The difference,if the boot was on the other foot, being the narrative - the player would be labelled a mercenary and we'd be accused of 'ruining football with oil money'

if nothing else it shows just how frightened they are of us. poor things are absolutely desperate not to be left behind. with wages its like 250m pounds. that is a desperation not seen in sport anywhere.

If this was City paying £100 million and £300k a week for their own trainee they'd be pilloried by everyone. They can't be allowed to get away without severe criticism from everyone. Their money is ruining football.

I'm sure more details will start to leak out over the coming weeks, i have already heard that there is an add o of £5 million if he signs a contract extension while with the rags.

Great signing. Forget the money involved, this bloke is one of the most sought after midfielders in the world, and if the Rags sign him they will be a lot better as a team. He will stay for a long time as well, as anyone wanting to sign him will have to pay upwards of £150m, so he's going nowhere.

I'd have been happy if we'd signed him, and for the same price.

That's what the rags, let alone everyone say about us.

I'm still struggling to understand how they have ended up paying a minimum of £93 million transfer fee, a rumoured £20 million in agent fees and £325k a week in wages in a one horse race?

Two words: Ewar Woowar.

Long be his reign.

Yep it would be like us buying Sturridge back

Seems we have all got this wrong, on Ragcafe they are now saying the £91 million fee includes the agents £20 million cut, give it a few more hours and it will include his wages as well and by the end of the week they will have signed him on a free.

I would imagine and if I were Pogba I'd hope my agent would put some sort of non CL qualification release fee in the contract.

Still seems too smooth for me, it's also not being repeatedly plastered all over SSN for hours and hours.

Afterall Weren't we I n advanced talks with BVB after agreeing terms with the player for Aubamayang.

First time they get beat and Mourinho needs a scapegoat...........

Just watch.
