Paul Pogba

The money isn't really important and it doesn't affect me or anyone else on this forum.

What the signing does affect is UTD's performance on the field and Pogba will be a class player for them. That's all I can see and their midfield will be infinitely better with him in there than the likes of Schneiderlin, Carrick, Fellaini, Herrera, etc.

The spotlight is on him now, takes a bit of pressure off our big name signings for the coming season, it's okay strutting round like a fucking peacock in a one team league -where he only scored 10 goals in Serie A.Lets see how he fairs in a league where space is at a premium.

As has been said before if Madrid really wanted then they would have signed him.

He needs to make a really big impact for that money .

Loved the Universal Studios bit..... he he he. Way to troll the masses, Paul.

There is no telling what United will have agreed to they are so desperate to get this over the line, however s move can very much happen to Madrid regardless...I could certainly see him seeing out 3 to 4 years of his contract at United and United selling him to recuperate the majority of what they paid...This is what makes the deal make sense to them for me in that they have the money and could well receive a large amount back.

The part which will hurt them is the widely acknowledged agency fee...The agents will sense blood from now on and will milk them going forward.

If its a 5 year deal at 300k per week Mino will start haggling a move away within 36 months to Real or China and who needs that disruptive agro.

We spend £200 million on regenerating a whole area of Manchester, benefiting communities and incorporating world class training/academy facilities and t'other lot spunk over £100 million on fees alone on buying back someone they deemed surplus to requirements (not a youth product of their making, at Le Havre til he was 16), desperate times require desperate measures I guess!

The irony in all of this is the aggro we get for "buying the league", ManU have been spunking money on any mercenary or crooked agent that gives them the wink.. This is the white elephant but the media don't want to upset cartel so it will get brushed under the carpet.

ridiculous fee aside, he will improve them. not to the same level as Ronaldo, messi, KDB would do but still improves them.

Just hope yaya is fully motivated for this season, he could easily eclipse pogba if he played in the right system with the right attitude

Thing is, these are now the standard of player he will be playing with. For the team to be infinitely better, they need more than just him IMO

You'd expect it would be better with him in but is he a match-winner like Messi, Suarez, Ronaldo, Bale, KDB, Aguero? Answer is no he isn't.

If he gets even better than he is now, Madrid will.

Is he likely to be better by perception i.e. playing with duffers, your bound to appear better in which case any improvement is relative.

Rags would see it as they have increased his value and try and command an even more ridiculous fee to save any face. In that case, cannot see him going for any more than they will ant, particularly if you take purported wages into consideration

I don't see him replacing one of their midfielders, I think it will make them too lightweight.

More likely for me is that they'll drop one of the front four to make way for Pogba.

With Ibrahimovic, Rooney and Mkhtaryan all pretty much certain starters I reckon Martial/Rashford/Mata/Depay should be a bit worried.

I still reckon he's anxiously waiting Real to show their hand. Mino will probably send him to Thailand next to keep this on hold.

And yes, the rag pr machine may be briefing that he's in the bag, but this is the group of muppets who couldnt sign Herrera and could sell DeGea, so I wouldnt give much credit to the words of those doing this deal.

They've been taken to the cleaners for Martial, Di Maria, Falcao and this will be just the latest one to have a laugh about.

Pogba will replace Rooney. I think Mourinho is not stupid and knows Rooney is beyond crap as well as that he's not "his" player. He'll play him here and there to keep the masses quiet but he won't put any trust in him. Instead it'll be all about the new guys, his new guys.
