If he wants to play for little money for us I'd take him, granted he understands he's going to be a backup option and he'll have to work very hard and prove himself to get gametime. That's the price to pay for choosing united all these years ago.

This feels similar to how I felt with the Ronaldo transfer. Under the right circumstances (low salary/high incentives), the devil inside me would like to see it just to see the horror at the swamp if we somehow managed to ‘free him’ and he become a star.
