What I do like about Pogba is his brutish physique. We need a big focker at set pieces as our lads are generally on the short side. An ideal replacement for Fernandinho.
Mate has any United player in recent years really done anything for their club lolAs hilarious as it’s been seeing utd wasting so much money I can’t believe even they would want to keep Pogba just to keep him away from us.
Don’t want him. Nothing to do with his lifestyle which seems fine but he’s hardly done anything for his club side for so long. If some argue well he was in a crap team so couldn’t stand out or he couldn’t be bothered this does not bode well.
Sorry, but I couldn't disagree more, especially about the CL matches. The home game he was mine & many of our fans' MoTM because he dominated the midfield & ran the show.Nope, it wasn't evident at Juve. Watched him carefully there when it was muted that we were interested, he was crap. Remember we played them twice in the CL and he failed to impress. He also played a lot for France in the Euros or was it WC? He wasn't impressive.
Think Lingard might be available to replace one of them.If it happens then we need to see the French star he is the Juventus player he was & the player that smashed us in the 2nd half of the 2-3 defeat
He has everything in his locker including a lazy cnut but now Raiola has gone will that allow him to express himself in his own way?
Just trying to be possitive knowing this signing could be happening
Champs League semi, UEFA league winner, Euro & World Cup winner hes not shit
UTD have killed him no doubt about it playing with 2 HM & Ronaldo coming back & probably rat face being the main man he's just given up
We all know Pep will not allow anyone to not give it or its the bench
If Pep wants him & we sign Haaland with Alvarez we have a team then capable of winning everything imo
I just fear 2 maybe 3 will be leaving
Sterling (Barca fingers crossed)
Mahrez (PSG)
Gundagun (Dortmund)
Aye, this is exactly where I am. Wouldn't be my first choice, but if he takes a pay cut and is motivated then why not. He's also probably not a terrible to have pinging balls in to Haaland from midfield, probably still one of the best in the league with those balls over the top.Not particularly exited about the prospect of signing Paul Pogba. But we all know how good he can be, as he has shown for France regularly. If he takes a pay cut and joins on a free, I see few downsides with the move, it would be a classic low risk high reward type of deal. Worst case scenario we get a squad player at a pretty low price. Best case scenario, him coming with a point to prove to a well functioning team with the perhaps greatest manager ever, makes him perform at the level we all know he can on a regular basis. Then we would have another world class player in our squad.
Wouldnt be my preferred choice in any way, but if he is the one we will end up with, I guess we could do a lot worse. Even if I would prefer to get a more long term option, the piss boiling if Pep gets the best out of him would be hilarious!
Not sure we’ll have Bernardoooo much longer (sadly). If our best midfield three is Rodri De Bruyne and Bernardo, who from that sits so this cretin can play every week?
If he is a Gundogan quasi-squad player and Gundo goes that might be an upgrade. But Pogba won't go for that and you're not paying the stupid wages he will want for a player in that role.
Might be a little closer if we sign Pogba. At this point, we should be least concerned about what is happening at United. They are atleast 3 seasons away from challenging for titles.
Oi !!! Leave me out of this. ;)I’m out
shake it all about
No they haven’t and thankfully we’ve never signed any. With their current squad including long may it last.Mate has any United player in recent years really done anything for their club lol
What do you mean “another player with poor work rate”. All our players work their socks off. What more do you want FFSJust what we need, another player with poor work rate.
Unfortunately you could be right.Maybe Pep and Bernie had a gentlemans agreement that one more year at City and then he could leave.Love Bernie and will be a sad day when he ever decides to leave. Not sure we’ll have Bernardoooo much longer (sadly).
That would be my concern. I understand why he's got frustrated there, but has he been professional about it. Most rags I know will be glad to see the back of him as they're fed up with his performances, but is he actually that bad or is it a bigger problem with the coaching, tactics and some of the other prima Donnas around him?So we want a player who plays, only when he can be arsed.
Which would be the biggest downgrade ever. So then who do we bring in the replace Bernardo's legs because that guy will be running for Pogba and/or Rodri. Not sure we’ll have Bernardoooo much longer (sadly).
