This! ^^^^What's this lifestyle stuff all about? I just thought he has a pretty garish sense of style and talks a lot, not seen anything about any off pitch shenanigans.
Wasn’t that the year we bought Rodwell and Sinclair?!You sign players that fit perfectly in the squad. You don't sign players because of price or lack thereof. This would be a signing we'd make in 2012.
His age doesn’t worry me at all. 29 was old for a player 20 years ago, it isn’t now.
I think weighing it up against other potential options is the pertinent point. For me, anything above £60m/£70m for Rice is just throwing money away. West Ham might say “we want £150m” but I want a night with Margot Robbie and that won’t be happening either. If we were looking at a midfielder and saying money isn’t an issue, Rice wouldn’t even enter my thinking. The money should be going on Bellingham.
Alternatively, FDJ in some form of swap deal for Sterling would be a good option. It probably suits all parties, and as we have seen in the past the figures in these deals can be massaged somewhat for FFP benefits.
All transfers have an element of risk, even Pogba on a free. If we get the United Pogba, he might not have cost anything in transfer fee but approx. £300k pw for someone who is half-arsed isn’t going to sit well with many. There will be strong views either way, but if Pep thinks he can get him playing then I think at his best he gets in our side.
We only need a replacement for Fern if both Gundog & Bernardo remain. My guess is if reports are true that De Jong is available at £59m & Gundog wants to return to Dortmund, that's when I can see 2 midfielders coming in.If we sign this **** we won’t be signing another midfielder
He got Mourinho sacked through his lack of application and toxicity

I’m not sure they had the potential of Pogba. If Pep could get Pogba motivated, it could be a masterful decision.Exactly.
Give us a clue, does he like Coca Cola (euphemism) type of thing ?And I still always hope I'm wrong.
Maybe Pep wants an option B: a 4-2-3-1 with Pogba and Rodri, similar to what we played vs Watford.
I think Pogba would be great as a dm for us. So as a back up to Rodri, and then someone who can also play as an 8 when necessary, and the 4-2-3-1, I think he’d get enough game time to warrant his wages.
Perhaps question marks over his personality are more question marks over the culture at United. He seems to know he’s better than them and has been completely demotivated so can’t blame him for sometimes not looking arsed when he’s playing with Fred and Mctominay.
Feels weird suggesting Pep might move from 4-3-3 but I think it might be about time. The Watford game was perhaps a test and it worked pretty well, was one of our most open games and if Jesus is scoring 4 then something must have gone right. I think Bernardo might just be too small to play the DM role as winning headers is important, but other than that he has all the attributes. Love it when he plays deeper against Liverpool, he’s ace at bringing the ball out.I was thinking this - with Haaland potentially signing, 4-2-3-1 with Rodri and another as the 2. FDJ, Pogba or even Bernardo would offer coverage, control and the ability to dictate play. The 3 would be 'free'
What off field idiocy? I've heard of nothing off field from Pogba since he's been at the Rags.Similarities to a certain Italian player who recently played for us. Capable of on-field genius but off-field idiocy.
Still, we all loved our Mario.
Says who?He played a huge part in creating that toxic environment. Dressing room poison
