I don't intend to fall out with you either so I'll refrain from adding to Ban-jani's comment above.

What I've done is point out that a man who claims to be for peace & justice has a somewhat chequered history. He's a man who sides with the terrorist over the sovereign state. A man who sides with the illiberal, like the Iranian & Russian regimes, as well as hardline Islamists like Hamas, over the liberal. A man who's never tried to bring people together but done his best to unequivocally take sides.

So good luck to him in his quest to bring peace & justice to the world but there's nothing in his past to suggest he's the man for the job.

That is your point of view of course, i respect that, but mine differs. We have been over this before at length and there is no chance at all that we will find common ground on this issue, because you are convinced he is a racist and i am convinced he is not a racist. I am convinced that antisemitism was weaponised from within the centrist faction of the Labour party and I do believe they are using the likes of you for political gain, which i find abhorrent. Hodge is a case in point with her mountain of spurious claims, many of whom where never party members, she and others had an agenda against the left of the party from the start and ignored the wishes of the membership who voted overwhelmingly in a free and fair election for a left wing candidate.

Everything possible was done to undermine the memberships democrat choice, you may not agree with the memberships choice but as I assume you are not a Labour member then it is really none of your business who we decided to elect as leader, just as its none of my business who the Tory membership elect as their leader. I can criticise the choice of course which you have done with the Labour membership choice, but it was our choice and hundreds of thousands of decent members have all been tarred as antisemitic because of the centrist PLPs undermining of the party.

The thing is though, if the Labour party is full of racists, where have they have all gone since Keith was elected leader, because apart from the ridiculous claims of CAS there is no reporting anywhere anymore of antisemitism in the Labour party. Its a miracle it has disappeared overnight now that a safe centrist is in charge. Doesn't that make you in the slightest suspicious? The leader before Corbyn was Jewish and he saw no need to introduce any rigourous examination of antisemitism into the party, does that not make you suspicious?

Anyway this thread went exactly the way i expected it too, a thread about peace and justice, something we should all value has been derailed over more claims of antisemitism. It has got to the point where even me who has always considered myself an avowed antiracist is thinking fuck it, if i am being tarred as being antisemitic, i may as well be antisemitic, because if the likes of Pollard at the Jewish Chronicle use his race to stop my ideas of what politically i believe is right, then why should not i make the likes of his political ideology hell for him too. He is an avowed Zionist and a member of the far right Henry Jackson society. The Henry Jackson society were Cold war macarthyites and hate the left with a passion. As i said to you before Col, the use of antisemitism as a weapon will drive people towards antisemitism. It will not make your life any easier or mean you face less prejudice, you will end up facing more because your race has been used to close down political debate and especially close down any political opinion from the left. The quote i put up from Tony Benn rings so true at times, especially when reading this thread.

It is a shame because it was always the left that stood up for the Jewish people, it was the left who stood beside the Jews at cable Street and it is the left who have always traditionally been the friends of the Jews, because as you know Kibbutism is admired by leftists. Now the left has been pushed away who will stick up for you now.....because if you think the RW will then ........good luck with that. .
