Mundo Deportivo saying "2 offers from Manchester"
Apparently the rags have offered €25m + €5m in add ons and we have offered €30m up front with €2m in add ons.

Well seeing as the release clause is €30m I can tell you right now the reported offer from us is a load of bollocks.

hes an amazing player, i dont get why he would want to sign for the scum. he wont win anything there. i hope we go for him he much better than navas

And as MD claimed an exclusive in Spain that we signed Bony...........from Newcastle,I'm inclined to agree with you.
Was just posting the rumour.

The only way we could have use of Pedro is if the De Bruyne deal falls through, which it hasn't, otherwise he'll just end up rotating with Sterling which is neither good for him or Sterling. He wants to leave Barca to be a first team player somewhere, if we get De Bruyne then that's not possible here.

Don't really understand this. He's an improvement on Navas, but so is De Bruyne. Unless we are getting rid of Navas and Nasri, I don't know how this would work.

As others stated, it doesn't really go with the scheme of things :/

Would surely mean nasri and Navas out

Personally I think Pedro is the better player.
Possibly but I would say it is fairly marginal. Pedro 18 months younger I suppose but Navas seems fairly settled, knows the way we play etc. For me this would just be introducing a new player for the sake of it, doesn't seem worth it financially or in footballing terms. We'd be better going balls out for De Bruyne IMO or even settling for what we already have.

The only way I could see this happening is that Pedro is told he will play regularly. Which, if we get DeBruyne, means both of those going. The only other scenario for me is if Wolfsburg are demanding really stupid money for DeBruyne & we sack it off. But if that ws the case I think we'd know already.

I think we're just being set up for a 'snubbing'.

I agree, don't see the logic of this deal. De Bruyne would be perfect, our attacking options sorted.

Agree or a I choose istory at the rags over money at City type quote.

I just can't see Pedro coming to City. I believe he's a better footballer than Navas, however he's very similar in terms of style of play, and position. I don't believe we can carry both in our squad so that means a Pedro arrival must surely indicate a Navas departure. There's been no rumour of that really. I think Pedro's a good footballer, and his release clause isn't actually all that steep price wise, but he doesn't really fit into our squad given the parts already in place. I'd be very, very surprised if there was anything in this at all.
