Pele: "Neymar Better Than Messi"

I get really bored with that arrogant tired old excuse that Pele never played in Europe. Europe hasn't always been the be all and end all of club football.

However, Pele does come out with some whoppers. Maybe I agree with the poster earlier who said that maybe he doesn't actually believe it, he just wants to build up Neymar's confidence.

Oh, and he's impotent......get a life Pele and log onto Redtube!

No mate you miss my point i think. I'm looking towards Pele being a general twat :p

What did Messi say about his recent player of the year award ? He dedicated it to xavi and the rest of the team.
Pele didn't even mention Coutinho in his top 125 ever players, nor did he mention half the winning Brazil world cup teams he played in. He did this to try and accentuate his own achievements.

This i find repulsive and just a bit wrong really.

Messi also is doing it in one of the top 2 leagues in the world. Pele was most of the time playing teams who would be the equiv of div 3 teams.

For every goal he scored also he missed 3 sitters, you never really see them get shown in highlights now though.

I'm sorry, but that is complete bollocks.
I don't think he understands that European leagues haven't always been the best in the world. Im sure if Pele played in todays times he'd come to europe and rape everyone. With todays fitness and development in general he'd be a better player than he was back then. Those that haven't watched him shouldn't be too quick to downplay the man. Ronaldo is not better than Pele, Messi is very close though imo.

The Brazilian League at the time Pele was playing in it, was one of the best Leagues in the world, if not the best. Santos would go on tours around Europe playing all the big teams, and most often not only would they beat them, but beat them convincingly. Pele actually could have won a lot more if Santos didn't sacrifice playing in the Copa Libertadores, for these European tours. Also, the winner of the Copa Libertadores (The South American Champions League) would play the winner of the European Cup, kind of like the Club World Cup today. When Santos won it twice, they beat the European Champion on both occasions, comfortably too. Everyone talks about Pele as being a great World Cup player, but the thing is, he didn't even feature heavily in a World Cup when he was at his very best.

I'm no lover of Pele as a person, whether or not he was the best footballer to have ever lived will always be up for debate, but the fact he's always going to be mentioned in that debate says a great deal on how good he was. Love him or hate him, he was a sensational footballer, who deserves all the plaudits.

Pele just seems gutted that Messi is taking his crown away.

He can't even get a hard on for his missus so he's unlikely to get excited about Mr Messi in his defence.

Pele probably doesn't like Messi because he has trouble leaving a 'Messi'.

"Now everyone is talking about Messi; he is a star. But [to be the best ever] he must first become better than Neymar," Pele said. "At the moment Messi is just more experienced."

Why does this senile idiot feel the need to constantly run his mouth? Does he really believe this shit?
What other drugs does Pele take other than Viagra....
