Is this aimed at me mate? If it is, again, I think you're getting yourself a little bit confused. Show me a post where I have criticised Fernandinho.

I have criticised Fernando plenty of times, and I've never rated Milner as a central midfielder, certainly at Champions League level.

As opposed to "banging your head against a brick wall" as Katie Hopkins Mk2 suggested, you could simply ask me. Personally I'd have played 451 and Fernandinho would have started 100%. It's not a controversial view, I think you'll find the majority of football savvy Blues thought the same.
 
Not a huge fan of Pellers. But a smart move by the club. Deflects Pep questions for the season and nets Manuel a big pay-off should gradual agree to come next summer!

He was in woeful form and it would have been a far worse decision to drop our only defensive midfielder. If you want somebody to blame for our shit central midfield in that game, blame the petulant **** who decided to lash out and get himself banned from the game.

Some blues need to accept that when you're playing Barcelona without your star centre mid you're not going to control the fucking game.

Mate, you're missing the point. He played 44fucking2 against Barcelona! I can't think of the last team to beat them in Europe playing that way, but I'm sure you'll enlighten me.

The point is he should have played the extra man in midfield. However out of form you considered Fernandinho to be, I assure you he was a dam sight more in form than playing no one and Dzeko up front instead!

You're right about Yaya not being there, he was stupid. But what do you do? Just close your eyes and hope it all works out anyway?! No, you adapt to the situation at hand!
