Pellegrini has made City a 'happy' club again, claims Begiri

I'm curious, what was your opinion of Mancini referring to Khaldoon as Judas, or him referring to Soriano as someone who "knows nothing about football, the guy from the airline".

He's got every right, hence in an official City documentary he does and nobody has edited it out.

Of course it isnt edited out, it fits with what txiki and co want everyone to think about mancini.

No, it's what everyone who dealt with Mancini thinks about him. There's a subtle difference.

I think we've been here before Billy and I've no wish to bore everyone again with a Mancini argument so I'll leave it here :)

He's had digs at the previous manager before and imo has no right.

Narrative. In the media narrative is king and this is the Mancini narrative.

The ironic thing is that the worst they can come up with is that Mancini wasn't very popular with some staff and players. Built an excellent squad. Check. Changed our mentality as referenced by Khaldoon and Ferran. Check. Won trophies and established us as one of the top sides in the PL averaging 80 points a season. Check. Had great hair. Double check.

We haven't seen the program yet and we don't know the context but it comes across as slightly classless from Txiki as we can big up what we are doing now without trying to justify it by saying the previous guy was bit of a shit. As far as I am aware Barca are not doing documentaries referencing how much the players grew to dislike Pep to the extent they barely spoke in his last year. Or Jose at RM or Van Gaal in his last year at Bayern or the umpteen other examples where players had enough of the manager. Yet we have to keep banging on about it. I don't know whether its insecurity or whatever but it is odd that we still feel the need to talk about the guy who left 10 months ago.

Although I guess it does reflect the impact Mancini made on City. Which may just be be Txiki's problem.

All well and good as long as it leads to performances and results.

None of us will look back on this era and immediately think "what a great era, the players were so happy in the workplace and chappy got a good morning each day".

We've been scoring goals for fun, have completed the domestic treble since the takeover and the Premier League is in our own hands. I can't believe people are struggling to see things are good at City with Pellegrini in charge.

The fact that you think the Chappy conversation is part of a Mancini argument is the exact problem here.

I'd hazard a guess that if chappy left the club tomorrow it would have no affect whatsoever on the players or the club. He's had digs at the previous manager before and imo has no right.

By the same token have you ever heard a former player slag Chappie off ??? Says something about the guy doesn`t it,as he appears to be a very popular figure with the players.

To be honest I am struggling to think of any kitman at any club I have heard slagged off. He probably is very popular but I still do not think it is the correct way to go about things.

The club and Chappy have once again tried to discredit the former manager. Small time behaviour.

The same could be said about players, directors, the media, etc !! Need I go on ??
