Even I didn't know the depth of the affection for Pellegrini at his former clubs. Don't think there's a club that he's managed where the supporter base almost universally wouldn't have him back in a heartbeat. Maybe there's some Madrid fans who wouldn't, but then they're Madrid fans. They like changing managers more than i do ...

FFS the press these days, how much do we need to be told, the man himself has said he is on his way except for signing the contract.

48 hours for it all still to go tits up mate, and MP to have a Dave Bassett style "change of heart"! 45 years of City - I don't need the sponge as much any more, but I can never stop the old sphincter twitching completely. Won't relax til he's signed on the dotted line!

It will be interesting the first match we play if he is in charge...I can still remember walking through the gates at Wembley shaking my head as around me all I could hear was "You can stick your Pellegrini up your @rse"!!...my...how times change...we all loved Bobby Manc, but as the old saying goes..."The King is dead...Long live the King..."

we had some right wankers at wembley - and not all of them were on the pitch!

that chant was directed at Txiki and Soriano and indirectly the owner and not Pellegrini himself, which makes it worse

And one last point, Santa Cruz want to stay in Malaga, they said it at the end of the video. Chilean accent is not that difficult :-p
Thats good news, though hardly a surprise, Malaga is far better than Manchester in January.

It might not be Monday!

maybe but I think all concerned will want it done asap.

Since it appears that he will be head coach rather than manager and that Bergeristan will do all of the summer work, he may as well have a good long holiday and report back with the players at the beginning of July.
