Based on the premise that a mortgagee is the one that lends the money rather than the one who is in receipt of the money I would beg to differ and say that the snubee is the one who gives the snub - not that makes much sense either tbf :-)

A mortgagee is someone who receives the mortgaged property ;) the -ee means they are the one receiving or undergoing something, while -er means the opposite. Hence interviewer/interviewee, referer/referee (yep, that's where the word comes from), employer/employee.


But yes, it doesn't much matter. I'm just picky about this stuff :)

Just been on Odds Checker and Sky Bet have Mou at 1/100 to be Chelsea's next boss, yet in spite of the interview Pellegrini has given, Manuel is still as big as 1/10 to be our boss.

Now I know 1/10 isn't actually that big, but given the circumstances, it is. Opportunity for those who have a significant bet to buy money I would have thought?

I don't understand betting well but it's free money whatever you put on it. Surprised it isn't suspended, he is clearly 99.9999999999% coming here now.

But he might get run over by a bus!

Pellegrini's probably known for weeks/months now that he's coming here , otherwise i doubt the club would have let Mancini go ..... but as usual all parties won't come clean until they're ready.

It's gonna be interesting because the owners will want the title back next season , and a far better showing in Europe too ........ he knows the score , he's gonna have to deliver at least one trophy a season.

Manuel Pellegrini , come on down ....... welcome to REAL pressure !

malaga v barca is live on sky on sat 6pm,i know its the last game of the season but still interesting to see his tactics against a really good team,im sure he will go all out to try and win it

I wonder if his coming out and saying he has an agreement is to help hurry a transfer or two along? Can see agents and players questioning why they should sign if there is no sign of a manager.
