Perhaps the two are related? I read somewhere that Isco did not have representation so Pelles agent was negotiating both moves to City.

Well I wouldn't want to come on here without doing my research first!

According to Wiki Chamberlain finished as Prime Minister in 1940 and Clement Attlee started 1945, ending in 1951 - I didn't catch the start of the discussion so haven't actually a clue how these 2 came up! So I opted for categorising it as 1940s politics but fair play!

Anyway that Herbert Hoover fella was a right Herbert wasn't he!

Is that where that saying comes from? In honour of him by any chance?
