Can I just add.
If anyone has been to OT they will know there is only one way in and out of the main stand, and that is via the forecourt and along the tunnel that leads to the main stand. In essence, you have no choice but to walk past and through the Stretford End Tier Two Commandos standing about or heading towards the Stretford End. Those that go to OT for the derbies will know what I mean.
What City and United should have done is made sure Pelle had a Police and Steward escort as soon as he got out of the car, not after he was pelted with missiles.(*****!)
As for Sir Bacon Face. The main car park at City is next to the Colin Bell stand, which means apart from the odd tea flask and half eaten sandwich, which has probably been thrown at Sir Bacon Face, he would have never received a hostile reception at City.
Oh, and one more thing.
Anyone remember this and other similar incidents at OT?

I was actually stood near the Rags when they began throwing those cans and beer bottles at the coach. At no point did GMP act. The Rags only stopped throwing those cans and bottles after the coach had passed by.
Yet come to City and it's like a scene from Mad Max the movie. Mobile metal barriers, CCTV, Police, Stewards, etc, everywhere. Yet not once have I seen any real(?) trouble apart from on Derby Day. Once started by the MIBS(arf!), and the other time by City, when they nearly turned the Police Van over. ;-) (stop it jrb!)
