Pellers press conference

Re: Pellers press confernce

I think people are being a bit naive regarding how the media works

If Sky covered the press conference it would mean a lot of positive publicity for City which does not seem something they wish to provide. This can be seen by the fact that other managers appointments have been covered by them including Wolves. Indeed they are prepared to promote and cover a press conference regarding 2 players to Liverpool

I think this harks back to the days of the old Sky 4 and also the fact that City and Chelsea are recent success stories and so have not got many supporters within the media both visual and written media whereas Liverpool Arsenal United have

To suggest there is no agenda IMHO is wrong I just think they are trying to do it in a subtle way

Was Mourinho's conference live?
Also, if they are all about money then as I said earlier, why promote just one of the top 4 clubs in the league? Why not promote them all, especially a club who is growing on a daily basis world wide, like us?

Mourinho got his shown live and fair play to him he took the wind straight out of their sails with the "humble one" comment. Moyes wankest is still ongoing. The agenda is there.

Re: Pellers press confernce

Next on SSN.

The Sun and Mirror seemed to stream part of it and then just loop, thus missing the end.

As someone else said, I dont understand why the OS doesnt show it.
I love our OS and its a shame this was missed.

SSN love Chelsea! They've done 3, hour-long special reports on their players!

So if Mourinho's was live, that can't really mean there is a pro-United agenda, can it? If there was, surely they would blank that conference too, especially considering that in the eyes of many, Chelsea are a bigger club to us, United's other threat?

Maybe it is anti-City then.

Which would make no sense then would it, considering who we are hoping to become?

Said everything that you would expect really......nothing out of the ordinary at all really.

After one more striker....didnt want to say anything about other transfers as every manager says and is to be expected.

Wants to play attacking attractive football

The questions were pretty basic and the press hacks were pretty easy on him to be honest

I dont know why, I thought Fernandinho spoke English as on the inside city on the website when he says hello and a couple of other things he sounds really confident so maybe I just presumed he spoke good English..not that it matters at all and maybe he does speak decent English but just doesnt feel comfortable doing it in his first press conference
Pretty much everyone speaks English to some degree nowadays.

You could tell by how he was nodding his head along that he understood some things but he isn't fluent.

Says in his interview with 442 mag that he will be taking up lessons.

To top it off they make us watch that rag woman Hayley McQueen while they make us wait - Proof there is an agenda!
