Absolute piss poor by Sky. Not even an explanation to why they aren't showing it at the time they would do. Instead they show Kolo and Mignolet press conference. You can't blame people for having suspicions that they're actually taking the piss.

Angle? Why would they have an angle?! You do realise we are one of 4 clubs they now use in their ads? We are on their billboards, the SSN ads - anything. Sky have as much interest in promoting us now as they do United, because we are big news the world over. Why alienate one club to concentrate on what another brings, when you can have both on board? They really do have no reason to have an agenda against the club, none whatsoever. We are now above the mighty Liverpool in the eyes of the footballing community, and Liverpool were the other club people on here used to be paranoid about too.

After one more striker....didnt want to say anything about other transfers as every manager says and is to be expected.

The questions were pretty basic and the press hacks were pretty easy on him to be honest

I dont know why, I thought Fernandinho spoke English as on the inside city on the website when he says hello and a couple of other things he sounds really confident so maybe I just presumed he spoke good English..not that it matters at all and maybe he does speak decent English but just doesnt feel comfortable doing it in his first press conference

Sky know Utd are their life blood.

It's not an anti-City thing, but they are pro-Utd. Even my myopic rag mates accept this, I think everybody accepts it don't they?

If your shop sells 20 products but ones a best seller which one do you think they will peddle the most?

It's common sense they play up to the rags because that's their market. Same as the press.

I can see why they do it yes, but it doesn't make it any less annoying.

What is more annoying is some people pretending it doesn't go on. Much like the Rooney & RVP elbow Vs the Ade & Balo "stamp" etc.

It's funny, i've been guilty of it myself in the past. Deal with it like that though, with little or no abuse back and the person dishing it out initially will probably be sat with their blood boiling that little bit more, again something i've been guilty of in the past! The forum is something you learn to use, over time, and take it for what it is.
