Pellers press conference

Re: Pellers press confernce

You can smell the agenda from a mile away...ain't nothing new and there very much is one.

Re: Pellers press confernce

I loved the bit on the 5 trophies in 5 years bit when he said "just five". hahaha

Was great to hear him praise the fans on our support as well.

Pellegrini sounds a very intelligent and classy man.

If your shop sells 20 products but ones a best seller which one do you think they will peddle the most?

It's common sense they play up to the rags because that's their market. Same as the press.
I can see why they do it yes, but it doesn't make it any less annoying.

What is more annoying is some people pretending it doesn't go on. Much like the Rooney & RVP elbow Vs the Ade & Balo "stamp" etc.

Again the best seller analogy can be used.

If you're selling an item do you
a) concentrate on the positives
b) talk about the negatives

United can do no wrong. If they spend it's because they can due to their massive revenue streams. If they lose a match, it's no problem because their winning mentality will help them prevail. If they win it's because they're great. If they are given a dodgy penalty it's part if the game and it evens itself out. If they are not given a penalty then try referees too slow or had an off day (couldn't handle the pressure, let the fans make his decision for him etc). If they sign a player it's because he's part of a masterplan and will become great, if they miss on a player it's because of money.

Cut a long story short, spin is their main attribute. Everything is sugarcoated red. David Moyes rapid rise in stock is the epitome of it. Laudrup and Martinez both have won more than him and both were equally as hamstrung financially. Moyes was a steady eddie and seen as a good manager but not great. Ask any United, Chelsea and Arsenal fan who were all linked to him and they would reel off a dozen names and then say Moyes isn't good enough. All of a sudden he's now a terrific manager and United have struck gold appointing him. Spin. Spin. Spin.

Hysterical the levels of propaganda. Makes North Korea look like Wikileaks ffs.
Yep. Fully agree.

Do you agree Pidge?

Just seen a snippet of James Cooper's questions to Pellers - excellent answers and excellent English.

Had to laugh when JC said you have made 2 signings and before he could finish his sentence he said 'for now'

When quizzing about strikers JC mentioned Jovetic and Negredo - but again Pellers shushed him saying 'no names - just rumours'. He confirmed we are deffo getting a new striker tho.

Exciting times boys and girls!
Don't forget the 5 trophys in 5 years is that all, love this bloke already.

this. its the most mind boggling thing on this forum. there are even some "blues" that can't see it.

as fucking if.
So people who can't see it aren't proper blues then, is what you're implying?
Not at all, the majority of reds see it as well.

I think it makes you naive or ignorant or a combination of the two or maybe you are just so entrenched in your view that whilst you can see it goes on, you would never admit to it as it doesn't fit your "forum persona".

Re: Pellers press confernce

Mr P spoke very well and it is evident he does not fear any other team in the PL or in Europe...
Btw I think I am right but the Moyes press conference wasn't real-time either....lets forget the
Conspiracy theories and be glad about the confidence this man will undoubtedly instill into our team to be the best......
