Did he fuck, you’re just making that up to suit your argument. Not heard one current or past player say thatPellers - 100% in his second year.

One of the main criticisms of him was that at times he was too nice to the playersDid he fuck, you’re just making that up to suit your argument. Not heard one current or past player say that
Yeah but how does that equate to losing the dressing room? He didn’t and that muppet just made it upOne of the main criticisms of him was that at times he was too nice to the players
The squad liked him.Pellers - 100% in his second year.
No that's what I'm saying. Far from losing it he maybe went too far the other way and mollycoddled themYeah but how does that equate to losing the dressing room? He didn’t and that muppet just made it up
Some good points.Listen mate, Pellers and all and fucking sundry knew he was a stop gap until Pep came in, he had little fucking chance with the dressing room once some decided to go against him as they could do what they wanted. In case it slipped your attention, Pep struggled with his first season with other issues in the dressing room, Hart, Yaya, Nasri to name but 3, plus he also had the same aging fullbacks Pellegrini had. Imo, he did a fantastic job undervthe circumstances, 1 title and 2 cups plus a CL semi final was superb looking back.
Now if you’re not happy with that I’m sure you can jump ship and ‘support’ Liverpool or Chelsea or whoever other foreign side you support to feel better.
You got me there mate!Did he fuck, you’re just making that up to suit your argument. Not heard one current or past player say that
Some good points.
Yet - given the great manager that Pellers supposedly is - wouldn't he have known that he was stopgap going into City?
And yet he accepted the job.
Credit to him for that.
And won a title with Mancini's squad - in his first year - turning dressing room support around.
And yet...
1) Lost the plot entirely in his second year;
2) Failed to motivate player whatsoever in his second year;
3) Was a tactical/strategic idiot throughout his tenure - making bizarre substitutions and choice of starting lineups throughtou;
4) Had zero attention to detail - to wit, the CL game v. Bayern.
Yeah - Pellers didn't criticize our side - or go out of his way to upset players. He's a gentleman for sure - but he's for sure my least favorite City manager for years and years running.
The squad loved him! Absolutely.The squad liked him.
Unlike you, I didn’t make that up.
Nobody said he was a genius or that he was the best motivator ever. You did, to deflect from the fact that you’ve been called out for talking unsubstantiated rubbish.You got me there mate!
I was totally making that up.
In his second year Pellers was genius - hell, the entire squad was pulling for him.
Best motivator ever - why, oh, why did we replace him with Pep?
