Who should take penalties if Haaland is not on the pitch?

Somebody once said to me left footers can't take penalties. After seeing Fodens attempt at West Ham I'm beginning to wonder if he was right.

David Unsworth missed the first couple penalties he took but he was a top penalty take only missed 2 of his next 27 saw this on a dodgy halftime stream last week.

Leighton Baines had a top penalty rexcord too think it might've been even better than Unsworths or he scored more not sure.

Julian Dicks and Stuart Pearce took a good penalty too.

Those are all left footed defenders in the prem ero who did or could play at left back... Without any right footed defenders or attacking players of either footedness, makes no difference whatsoever never has and never will what footed a player is.

If anything left footers are probably remembered more Daniel Passarela scored many penalties in his career he was a prolific goalscoring defender and was a left footed.

The rules should be changed so that the player fouled has to take the penalty, in the case of a handball then the last attacking player to touch the ball should have to take it.
Anytime Rodri was in the box he’d be hacked down - the defender certain in the knowledge that the penalty would be missed

David Unsworth is a really good bloke. My lads were mascots for us at Everton and he looked after us. Top man.

I feel like left footers always go to the keepers left, probably doesn’t hold up to the stats…

Brown Fox from Viz. Once saw her score a free kick using a ‘tunnel shot’ where she drilled the ball so hard into the ground it travelled below ground level, under the wall, eventually surfacing beyond the goal line and into the back of the net!

De Bruyne clearly doesn’t enjoy taking them even though he’s not bad. Gundogan is our best option from a mindset and consistency point of view.
