No to Rodri his last penalty wasn't convincing. If Gundo is on the pitch he will do alright.

Mahrez has done a decent job this season and as long as he still feels confident I think it'd be a mistake to change the penalty-taker off the back of one miss.

He’s finally added some consistency this season and today’s was nowhere near as bad as people are making out.

It’s in the corner and hit hard enough. It’s just a decent save

Simple as the stats for me:

Gundogan - 13/15 (87%)
De Bruyne - 9/11 (82%)
Mahrez - 20/28 (71%)
Sterling - 4/8 (50%)
Jesus - 5/12 (41%)

Gundogan this season, always looks the most composed taking them and has the stats to back it up.
Next season of course Haaland with 24/26 (92%) so far.

That may well be true but until he actually let's him take one it's all smoke and mirrors.
Doubt we'll find out anytime soon.

If the keeper takes the penalty, he absolutely has to score. Anything else and we risk the opposition breaking on us while our keeper's at the wrong end of the pitch.
