Supposed to have said "For my people", could be some kind of Bosnian political statement??
 
It said "For my neighborhood friends". Not sure why he does this, it's kind of copycat from Tevez/Balotelli.

I also knew he'd miss the penalty. He tried to throw the goalkeeper off by looking directly to the left side, but this may have backfired because it wasn't subtle at all. My guess is the keeper just decided to go the other way.

Either way, he would have been better off just picking a spot and smashing it and not worry about mind games. His shot is so powerful that I don't think anybody could defend it if he places it.

Everyone can have powerful shot from penalty spot but Dzeko is certainly not the player that have any particularly powerful shot. Actually, he doesn't have powerful shot at all if ball is on the ground.

Anyway, Dzeko is awful penalty taker and should not be, and I guess he won't, be anywhere close the ball on penalties.

Wow, completely disagree on shot power. Take a look at the video at 0:42. It was a fairly powerful shot and the reason it almost went in anyway. The run up was poor and the keeper obviously read his intentions.

Strange statement to make!!

"It's just whether the keeper guesses the right way", no shit!

If Dzeko would have mis-kicked it then he would have scored...the keeper would have dived past it.

Tevez hasn't missed many and not all of those that he has missed have been poor pens. Dzekos was shocking.

It's probably just me , but i'm always nervous when left footed players take penalties , i keep seeing the likes of Waddle and Pearce blazing them wide for England .....

i think i'd only really feel comfortable watching a left sided penalty taker if it was Lionel Messi , or whisper it , Van Persie !
 
Just one thing to say on this subject, "WILL BLUETHEATRE STOP SAYING WE'RE GOING TO MISS PENALTIES THEN". It's obviously his fault. :)
