Chelsea fan's view on Pep interview
Did he tell you that?Pep wants us to become Bayern Munich fans all singing in unison nothing spontaneous.
He’s not having a go about folk paying good money to go to watch games. He’s on about our dire atmosphere at home which is very quite most of the time. We sat in silence first half of spurs.our away crowd are decent. Always singing with a passion.Pep was calling out fans without thinking that he hasn't had to pay to go to a game for donkeys years. He really needs to think about it. Most of us home fans have been going for years and will still be going long after Pep and the current crop of players have gone. Also does he not realise that those brilliant away fans we have are also home supporters. I wasn't happy when he had a go at us last season and I wasn't pleased the other night.
That was me, sorry mate.I can remember standing in the Kippax and you could hear someone fart in the Main stand at times.
This post every time. Well said blue. I remember going to Roker park Sunderland with City.. we sang where’s your famous Roker roar.. every time Sunderland attacked us in our half they rose to the occasion. Very excitable Makems with us lot adding to creating a powder keg of an atmosphere. Back in the dayThe fire is still burning in pep,but he’s called the players out and the fans let’s fucking get going,we could see a similar game on Sunday but it’s up to us then to get behind the team and push them over the line give them that extra energy..
I booed because we had played badly and made stupid mistakes.
Like Pep, I can accept losing to a better team every day of the week (within reason)
I can't accept half arsed efforts and elimentary mistakes.
I won't accept it from Pep or the players. They are supposedly at the top of their profession and while nobody is perfect, the failings have been on show for the majority of this season.
It means too much to me. Passion comes in all forms, Pep, and I have more than you will ever have for this Club.
Irrespective of how brilliant you are at your job.
Football consumes you?
My love for City consumes me more. Not even in the same postcode.
Did you sing and shout ? Clap? anything or sat in silence ?He’s not having a go about folk paying good money to go to watch games. He’s on about our dire atmosphere at home which is very quite most of the time. We sat in silence first half of spurs.our away crowd are decent. Always singing with a passion.
I was wondering that as well.Decent watch, guy makes some great points - thanks for sharing
What was his point about pep calling Haaland out in his interview - I missed that
only to experience warm piss running down the back of your leg because you couldn't move, thats real support ;-)If only we’d had Pep and the standing Kippax. He’d know what passion is then.
not saying you don't have to be clever, but as I've said previously ferna, zabba and vinnie wouldn't have let that twat go uncheckedYou have to be clever ? the players did defend Rico with the officials and spurs players, but It's when I fear city lose the plot and any game plans, and we leak goals in a short space of time,
We sat in silence because there was nothing to cheer, that has always happened and I've been going since the early seventies. The atmosphere was better in the second because city were a hundred percent better. He’s not having a go about folk paying good money to go to watch games. Sorry mate but I'm not agreeing with that. If we love City we support them warts & all. When they need our support we have to lift them. When things are not going our way for whatever reason it's our job to back them. I don't know one City fan who wouldn't prefer an atmosphere in that 2nd half compared to the first. Who creates that noise? We do. We have to be pro-active as a fan base. We should not & cannot wait until things are going our way as it may not always happen. I've been at some amazing City games...home & away....when we were crap & when we were much better. You cannot beat being part of a vociferous crowd of football fans. It's absolutely brilliant. Real hair standing up on the back of the neck stuff. When it's quiet it's awful. Don't wait for the person/mouse next to you. Open your mouth. Let out all that stress. Raise the roof. Shout your lungs off for your beloved club. Inspire your fellow blues. Do that & I guarantee you will leave the stadium a lot happier than when you arrived. We sat in silence because there was nothing to cheer, that has always happened and I've been going since the early seventies. You don't have to have it but that's the way it's always been whether you like it or not. Not saying it's right but we are not the only fan base who is like this.Sorry mate but I'm not agreeing with that. If we love City we support them warts & all. Have to say I was a bit disappointed that I didn't see any of the senior players Twat holjberg..not saying you don't have to be clever, but as I've said previously ferna, zabba and vinnie wouldn't have let that twat go unchecked
I know what you mean, but I can't abide sitting there quietly, the players need that encouragement sometimesWe sat in silence because there was nothing to cheer, that has always happened and I've been going since the early seventies. You are right but the other night it was fucking freezing and I don't think that has been taken into account. We needed the game to be better to warm us up. Like the second half.I know what you mean, but I can't abide sitting there quietly, the players need that encouragement sometimes
