Bad decisions do affect the players and the managers , it has always been the case, this season with VAR you could argue some teams are getting a greater share of calls go their way , some have made the gap bigger between us and Liverpool. It is significant but not that great to explain our drop in form this season. Pep is having a pop now because he's annoyed at the team performance, he's using VAR as an excuse. We should have beaten Spurs yesterday quite comfortably. Likewise we should have beaten Utd mid week in the second leg by some margin It's not VAR that i stopping us converting our possession or our chances on goal, nor is is VAR than is selecting Gundogan to start or continuing to start with Sterling when he's having a bad run of confidence, nor does it explain KDB inconsistencies . For the last few seasons City have been great when it has been going our way but we tend to fold when someone doesn't roll over straight away. If you think its all VAR crack on

I have some sympathy with him while not agreeing with him.

Our victories are not celebrated in the wider football world but our losses are, all our achievements are noted, the trophies handed out, our name goes in the record book but they are not lauded and rarely mentioned, this makes for a paranoid fan base and a paranoid club, thing is with paranoia, sometimes they really are out to get you.
