Pep documentary on BBC

Regarding the show I thought it good, but lacking in any sort of depth as to why he's the best. No nod of the hat to the false nine Foden season, the Stones role last season from both rb and cb. The coaching required to pull those two off alone is off the charts.

It waxed lyrical about all his achievements, but didn't scratch the surface for me. So many tactical topics to delve into.
It was made for mass consumption aimed at folk who know more about false eye lashes than nines.
I thought it was a very good tribute to this generational talent.
Although, the bit where he's being filmed sleeping as a kid is well creepy. Wtf Barca???

He was manager of Barca for 4 years and City for 7+. I presume the point was that it spent longer on his time as manager of Barca even those he’s been at City longer. It did feel like the Bayern and City years were quickly covered compared to the rest of the documentary (player, Barca B, Barca).
He was at Barca since he was a boy. Over 20 years at that club. It helped make him the man he is.

Just watched it, then both my kids watched it.
Definitely aimed at mass consumption, rather than a niche audience. Still have to pinch myself that Pep actually came to City, & is still here, especially after the Klopp news.

Outstsnding doco ,hes special guy pep,hes litterally changed football the way its played

Just watched it. Incredible viewing. We have been very lucky to have him at City. Long may it continue.

Gone round to watching the documentary.

We're so fucking lucky aren't we? The man is football God.
