The other issue is his treatment of Foden , Merlin is having an average injury plagued season , Bernardo is light years away from his best form and Mahrez has one good game in three , and yet Foden rarely gets a sniff of a first team start. If Foden cant get in the first team when three midfield players are under par , when will he ? About time he showed some faith give the lad half a dozen league games , what can Pep lose , the title has already gone.
Having said all the above , he is the best manager we have had and the best of his generation , but a stubborn so and so.

Think this is my biggest gripe also. Theres no doubt the fella is a genius, but I am genuinely excited to see what kind of talent Foden can become and the only way he is going to get there is by playing. The immediate energy he brings to the midfield when he does get a shot is infectious, we probably looked better in that last 10 minutes yesterday than any of the other 80 and I dont think its a coincidence why. The Wolves game was crying out for his energy, despite Bernie and Rodri's best efforts.

Pep Guardiola on becoming the fastest manager to reach 100 PL wins: “It shows how incredible these players are, what they have done in the last few years. People want to burn everything when we lose, and when we win, it is whether we are able to catch Liverpool..."

“If you have perspective, and a perspective of what they have done, to achieve 100 victories in 134 games, these players are idols and heroes. They will remain in my heart for the rest of my life..."

“We are distant (from Liverpool), especially because of the quality they have - incredible. It’s almost impossible (to catch them) but if we qualify for the CL next season, after 100 victories in 134, maybe we deserve to continue next year.”

"I will always support them in bad moments. I will always be there, they deserve it. What they have done is honestly incredible..." [via @StuBrennanMEN]

I think I'm the only one that interprets his comments about us not being as big a club as some as a dig re: some clubs holding power and influence over the governing bodies.
I see it as a put down of UEFA and the F.A rather than our club.

His interview on SKY today suggests he’s staying, saying this season will make us stronger for the next two or three seasons, I think he has a plan lets hope he can execute it.
Based on everything he's said for the last two seasons he's not planning on going anywhere.

It's just bad results and a media campaign have got everyone thinking he's going, and unfortunately that includes a lot of blues.

Of course he could go at the end of this season, but there's nothing outside of wishful conjecture to indicate he would.

It's possible, he has become increasingly passive aggressive towards the media.

Although he has been saying what he's been saying since his first season. Although barring that brief period where we won our first few games he wasn't exactly getting the best press in that particularly season from day 1.

We have been getting shit on long before he showed up mate.

I think also he’s just genuinely exasperated by things he has never really had to deal with before. At Barça and Bayern he was used to getting decisions his way.

He’s probably frustrated that despite our excellence on and off the field, at times we don’t feel like a super power club. We don’t have the arrogance, the entitlement. He probably sees UEFA giving us short shrift, hears our fans booing the UEFA anthem and thinks “how does that help?”

I don’t think he’s entirely wrong to think that, but I don’t necessarily see the value in publicly stating his views, especially the way that he has articulated them. It isn’t boosting the external perception of our club and it’s clearly grating on some of our fans
