Not that I support it, but I think he says a lot of what he says to protect himself and the players from the media.I think also he’s just genuinely exasperated by things he has never really had to deal with before. At Barça and Bayern he was used to getting decisions his way.
He’s probably frustrated that despite our excellence on and off the field, at times we don’t feel like a super power club. We don’t have the arrogance, the entitlement. He probably sees UEFA giving us short shrift, hears our fans booing the UEFA anthem and thinks “how does that help?”
I don’t think he’s entirely wrong to think that, but I don’t necessarily see the value in publicly stating his views, especially the way that he has articulated them. It isn’t boosting the external perception of our club and it’s clearly grating on some of our fans
A possible hint that he might be staying on next season?
A possible hint that he might be staying on next season?
it was. No need to apologise. I probably should have made it clearer. He's explicitly said for over a year he's staying on until at the very LEAST the end of his contract. Surely that's enough of a hint?
Unless you meant beyond that in which case I do apologise.
Fuck you. I'm sorry and there's NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT ;)it was. No need to apologise. I probably should have made it clearer.
