He needs to come out and say he's staying. Hopefully he signs an extension for at least a year because we need surgery in the summer.

I think also he’s just genuinely exasperated by things he has never really had to deal with before. At Barça and Bayern he was used to getting decisions his way.

He’s probably frustrated that despite our excellence on and off the field, at times we don’t feel like a super power club. We don’t have the arrogance, the entitlement. He probably sees UEFA giving us short shrift, hears our fans booing the UEFA anthem and thinks “how does that help?”

I don’t think he’s entirely wrong to think that, but I don’t necessarily see the value in publicly stating his views, especially the way that he has articulated them. It isn’t boosting the external perception of our club and it’s clearly grating on some of our fans
Not that I support it, but I think he says a lot of what he says to protect himself and the players from the media.

We were torn to shreds for not beating Monaco. I think Pep believes the media can affect the players, so he doesn't want a repeat of that. I reckon his not winning the CL at Barcelona in 2010 and 2012 made him like this.

Personally I'd rather he and the team be bullish. But I'd rather we win every game 5-0. We as fans just have to compromise and get over it, in my opinion. There's too many positives for me to fixate on it.

A possible hint that he might be staying on next season?

He's explicitly said for over a year he's staying on until at the very LEAST the end of his contract. Surely that's enough of a hint?

Unless you meant beyond that in which case I do apologise.

Pep Guardiola: “In the last decade we were the best team in terms of points, goals, everything - titles even. So congratulations Manchester City for that! When we analyse every single day here, it gives us perspective in what happened in the last 10 seasons...”

“Especially when the people from Abu Dhabi took over the club and bought good players, [brought] interesting managers and bigger stuff!”

Pep Guardiola on 2019: “We did incredibly well. People say ‘how was 2019?’ [and] people are saying a disaster. We won four titles - an incredible year. In the last part we struggled. We were fighting ‘huge elephants’ here in England, big clubs with big histories...”

“For the past decade we were part of them. That is amazing!”

Pep Guardiola on the next decade: “We are going to try and analyse not just the squad but as a club how we can do better.

All done with zero help,i'm proud of all everyone
