Not convinced the mourinho tactics first half was all part of a great masterplan and think we could have taken the worst madrid side ive ever seen (by a long way) to the cleaners but I'll roll with it for now
Made the right changes, Made the wrong team selection. We were a tad lucky but I'm glad we got out of there with a 1-2 result. Will await the backlash as everyone is rightly excited and happy but he got lucky tonight. His team selection and tactics showed them too much respect and us little respect.
It's as if people seem to forget that we were 0-1 down with that selection and tactics before Sterling came on, Jesus went up top, KDB had options and we played how we normally play.
Madrid were there for the taking and the last ten minutes showed that. The home leg will be a comfortable victory if he doesn't show them respect again.
Brilliant and correct.Brilliant.

FFS, mate, just had quick view of your past 20 or so posts and you really are either one of the most miserable ****s on this forum or one of the biggest WUMs. Or both.Agree - think we would've battered them with a different setup. They are decidedly average at the moment

We just beat Real Madrid away and apart from applauding an Eddie save and some praise for Walker that is still a subtle dig on the future of the club, you’re just spouting negative **** in every thread.
You need to find something that brings you joy, that isn’t WUMing, as City certainly doesn’t seem to do it for you.
Stop deflecting, as you usually do.You went through 20 posts just to take a shot at a fellow Blue, and for a post that is midly critical at best? Christ. Says more about you than me I think, bud.
Perhaps it would be wise to heed your own advice and enjoy the win, instead of focussing on petty forum one-upmanship and lashing out.

It’s your body of negative work that I was highlighting, and it’s not the first time you have been called out, including by me and other mods.
It says everything about you, and you should heed the advice.
I do both call out and counter, as you’ll know.My body of work is a lot bigger than a cherry picked last 20 posts mate, which includes plenty of upbeat posts. That won't fit your narrative though.
There's no deflecting - football is full of a broad range of opinions right across the spectrum. You and a small minority don't seem to understand this and needlessly make things personal when you don't agree.
If you don't like what's being said and can't counter with football debate, ignore the post or the person.
I do both call out and counter, as you’ll know.
And many of us (not a “small minority”) have seen your body of work over time, hence the many times you have been called out, so yours is a very interesting position to take.
I’ll leave it for now, as the point has been made about your negativity and borderline WUMing, but I would still suggest, for the sake of your continued presence on Bluemoon, that you look for more joy in your life.
Spot on Dom. Clearly shows what some fans are like that after a fantastic team effort and win, some want to find fault. Totally bafflingWe created better chances with his tactics before the substitution than the goals. Ultimately we scored off 2 massive individual fuck ups, that's a fact. Ramos should never get outjumped by Gabby, Courtois should always save that header and Carvajal should never dive in.
This is a fundamental problem with football fans, they only judge the outcome. We scored twice with Sterling on and they imploded so it must have been better. They probably would have collapsed if Jesus or Mahrez had buried any of the 5 chances they had under Pep's original system.
He set us up in a way that frustrated and confused Madrid from the first whistle, controlled the game and created chances....there's only so much the man can do.
Especially when the likes of me and @aguero93:20 have escaped your net. ;-)Literally the only person on this site I've ever clicked the "ignore" button for. I guess that says a lot.
He, s spot on thoughBrilliant.
This bloke is Pep's mate and occasionally provides interesting titbits
