If he doesn’t extend this summer, next season is automatically a write off due to the constant speculation. So as much as we need to change almost a third of our playing squad, signing Pep should be priority number one.

I think there’s a strong case for doing that, yes. No idea what the club will do in such a situation, but they’d be foolish not to at least discuss managerial options.

Need to focus on genuine quality to have genuinely world class starting XI. Then some youth players can be back ups. Back ups shouldn't cost more than £30m, yet we have some costing £60m!

This season has been a shit show even before it began. Pre season was a colossal waste of time and we haven’t got up to speed since. Add to that we didn’t replace kompany and it’s hardly surprising we’re where we are.
Hopefully next pre season is planned better and not just for marketing so we can hit the ground running.
