and everyone lived happily after.
The end
The end
Ok, but it's all moot. We have no reason to believe that's not what's happened.Okay, but we have no reason to believe that's what happened.
Nobody has claimed that Pep asked Sterling to 'step up', so I'm unsure what your point is?
All we know is that the two had a little row before the Southampton game because Sterling wanted to play and Pep's punished him by dropping him for Fulham. That's it.
Pep's overall management during this crazy covid period has been nothing short of magnificent. We all knew he was a tactical genius but the way he has galvanised our playing squad and our off-field staff in such a pressure cooker situation has taken things to a new level. He has managed total disruption of the season including the fall-out from our CAS case, his own personal bereavement, complex fixture demands at home and abroad, and relentless negative media coverage.I actually think pep changed the way we play knowing we didn't and don't get a break, whatever happens between now and the end of the season we can all acknowledge that pep has rotated perfectly, we seem to be in great shape, fully fit squad with 16 games hopefully to go, well done pep and all those behind the scenes
His squad rotation, whilst there's an element of luck, most surely be a factor in why we have a full squad during this manic season where we play more games than anyone else and had a shorter pre-season.Pep's overall management during this crazy covid period has been nothing short of magnificent. This last 12 months has been a truly epic achievement irrespective of the trophies we end up with. Look at the way Klopp and Liverpool have simply collapsed under the pressure. I am absolutely certain that what we are now witnessing with Pep is simply one of the greatest managers of all time at the peak of his powers. I have to pinch myself sometimes.
And so many of their fans are in denial about them being flogged for 3 seasons.Yes, and no. Anyone want to hazard a guess how Liverpool can go from winning the League by a country mile to struggling to win a game at the moment? I’m going to suggest it’s because their players are physically and mentally fucked. They’ve played the same high intensity, high energy game week in and week out for three seasons now, and I’m sure the players were delighted that the manager never really felt the need to upset them by requiring them to take a breather. Now their legs feel like Lead and Klopp looks like a helpless halfwit on the sidelines because there’s literally nothing he can do to help them. Pep has sussed this and is working proactively to guard against this happening to us. The players need to understand this and be supportive of the manager’s attempts to deliver something special this season.

Of course it is but let's not forget, quite a few on here were not happy with the amount of rotation Pep was doing,His squad rotation, whilst there's an element of luck, most surely be a factor in why we have a full squad during this manic season where we play more games than anyone else and had a shorter pre-season.

You could argue that this is not even the strongest squad we have had in the last decade. We don't really have any Galacticos. No one was raving about Rodri, Gundo, Cancelo, Stones, Dias, Ederson, Zin, KDB, Sterling, Laporte, Jesus, Bernardo, when we bought them. In fact the media mocked us.Who are you kidding. There is one reason and one reason only. The Money spent. Because no other club ever spends money, or buys players or builds squads.
