well, at least it seems he's going to take most of the heat. Most players should thank him for that cause whatever formation was played and whatnot, they were not good enough and did not bring it in the final
We didn’t win though did we? Hence why people are having a go at the formation and positioning.If we won tonight he would be hailed a genius. Our last two games against Chelsea ended in defeat. He decided to give the pack another shuffle.
The previous defeats against Chelsea were not with the starting 11 that he should have played tonight. The starting 11 that beat PSG.
The FA Cup and League matches were not a “shuffle” of the pack, they were playing with a completely different pack.
Last night Pep started with a tweaked formation/personnel and we were a worse team than the one that played against PSG because of it.
Sterling in, Ferna out, Gundo CDM and Foden into midfield. 4 personnel/formation changes from the PSG 2nd leg 11.
All these calls were made by Pep and his coaching staff and we didn’t get the chocolates and didn’t perform, so he deserves some criticism as a result.
Just like he would have got accolades if we had won it for making these changes.

Just watched his post press, I'm astounded by his ego even now, he has a real problem never admitting a mistake, he will always fuk about too make himself look good, I'll love this club until I die but can't handle egoman, he just waffled shit about DM. Gundo is a great great player for us and I love him but as per the 1st couple of seasons here, he is not a DM.
