Genuine answer... Manchester City. Possibly for a lot longer than you.

Sorry if my opinions don't fit the 'trust in Pep' agenda followed by many on here. I've never been one to brown nose everything that Pep nor the club does... I'm not, and never will be, a 'happy clapper'.

The bloke is obviously great coach but he's been displaying fallibility in the biggest games.
Oh, for sure he has made mistakes with team selections and subs etc, but it was the manner in which you post begged the question. As for being a fan for longer, not interested in that.

Of course you're not... but let's just say it answered your 'genuine question '
Don't question a fellow fan's loyalty etc just because their opinion upsets / offends you. Believe it or not, there are a number of City fans who think that Guardiola tinkers too much, has too many favourites, isn't the right man to build forthe future, or has peaked at the club.
Change isn't always a bad thing... It's a matter of recognising when it's needed, and doing it before it's too late.

OK, if it makes you feel better, when was your first game?

As for everything else, I am in agreement with you, but it was the nuance of how you post begged the question of support.

If Pep isn't the right man to build for the future, considering his record, who is?

I seem to remember that you (and most of the others who don't like the most successful manager in the club's history) were happy clapping like a lovesick seal week after week when we had Mancini in charge.

I've never been a 'happy clapper' David. I've been a pain in the arse for many, many years.

Mancini built a title winning team at City. Pellegrini inherited and added to it. Guardiola inherited it and tinkered.

Like a lot of other Pep acolytes, you've probably got a permanent brown spot on the end of your nose.

That's the whole point of my comment... I would like to think that the club is well ahead of the game, and has already identified someone to take over. If the hierarchy haven't, we could end up falling off a cliff when Pep leaves.

Whoever takes over, I doubt that they'll be able to 'hit the ground running' to maintain the standards - They need to be introduced gradually over 22/23.

I've just searched on your user name and "Mancini" and it was hilarious, although quite saddening in lots of ways to see the pure and unadulterated blind adoration you had for him and then your distress when he got find out.

This one's a good one and perfect for this thread. I don't recall ever seeing so much delusion and misjudgement crammed into one single conversation.

Love Mancini as much as the next blue but there seems to be a disconnect when bigging him up for building a title winning team but no mention at all of him imploding and having many of said team turn on him.
