Rags over here will have a rare day to rejoice when the GOAT manager Per will leave us. But, it will be still 2+extension 3 = 5 yr away. keep crying......

Think about the whole season, champions, a cup a semi final and a european final. If that's a c in yur world, not sure what mangers ever going to get an A , or Still if you want to judge a manager on one game which in your opinion he got his selection wrong on you go. Bit daft in my opinion.
read my post, two games, one being the most important of the entire season. Answer the question i put to you pls? I think your the one being a bit daft, pretending the season was a good as it could ever be.

It wasn’t the most important of the entire season. As Khaldoon was quite clear about. The champions league may be the most important to you thats up to you. To me most fans and the chairman the league is the most important.

Care to answer the question blueparrot?

Doesn't matter you get Pep the whole Pep good and bad. Then yo judge him on that. That judgement means winning more than any other manager. If you want to make a Frankestein manager bits and peices of the best then you could probabaly make a better manager. You can't so you get the best available. Pep
agree with this . i think he's the best manager in the game . problem is so does he. he's blinded by his own success . if he stopped looking too hard this squad will win the lot. rotation is unavoidable but choose your games very carefully . never in a Derby, a semi or a bloody final . same with formations . Chelsea final was was unforgivable . he'll leave here with that stain against him and it's a shame .

At the time of the Champions league final we had already won the league and had no more matches.
A one off match.
You might argue that the league is the priority at the start of the season but at that moment in time there was nothing more important.

We could have had Klopp or Tuchel when they were available, and have both proved that they're better than Pep at winning the CL.

Pep has won it twice and Klopp and Tuchel have both won it once. Pep has also won 2/3 finals compared to 1/3 for Klopp and 1/2 for Tuchel. So no, neither of them are better than Pep at winning the Champions League.

Pep has won 34 trophies as a manager, which is double what Klopp and Tuchel have managed COMBINED.

There's an old saying that you're only as good as your last game.
Pep's last game was a failure.
He failed to deliver the CL at Bayern and he's failed to deliver it at City.
The past is the past... He inherited two very strong and successful teams at Bayern and City but blew it on the biggest stage (in the owner's view) at both.
Thanks for the entertainment and trophies Pep, but it's time to move on.
